Okay, so I haven't been keeping up with the post on this site. I know I need to so I came up with this new concept. Well, I don't know how 'new' it is, but let's try and see.

Monday ... Mary

Sounds cool, right?  Right! Okay, so what does it mean? It means that on Monday I will update you on what is happening in my Author/Book Nerd Life. AND....AND tell you what is to come.

So.........

Book 1: Melting Away the Ice is still schedule to come out on Sept. 13.....*insert panic attack* I am so nervous about this. However, I think once everyone reads about Lucas Sharp and falls in love with him as much as I have, it'll be okay. The cover is begin updated and the edit is still a work in progress, but I know once my nerves settle it will be great!

I am currently working on 2 different projects. One is TOP SECRET (which just means I will have to tell you later) and the second is, well, it's book 2 of Melting Away the Ice. Both are going well, but still in the early stages. I will keep you updated.

Then, there is my project with the GREAT LINDSAY PAIGE (who is truly the greatest person!) My LP has talent oozing off of her. Our Book 1: Breakaway is coming out Aug. 15 *insert a bigger panic attack* That's right around the corner. But, I can't wait for everyone to meet Levi and Presley. Seriously, this is going to be a great book.

On top of that we have begun Book 2 of that series. We are breezing right through it too. LOVING IT!!

Even though I am nervous about these projects, I am also equally happy! I like having a lot on my plate. I like to stay busy all the time and I hate to sleep.

I will keep you updated!! PROMISE!!

    Wow...Breakaway is coming out Aug 15th. I didn't realize it was so soon. I will have to add it to my TBR list for this summer :)

I love to watch movies! Probably too much, but I love to watch movies. Like books, they can touch you in some way and impact your way of thinking. Book Review: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

    It seems like forever since I have written a book review. Do I even remember how to? Let's give it a shot!!! I received this book from my Book of the Month pick and am I happy I did. Wow, this book is a true page turner. I read it in one sitting.  What I loved: Taylor Jenkins Reid truly knows how to keep a reader engaged. I figure this book was going to be an Elizbeth Taylor knock off, but O...M...G... I was wrong! She shows us what one woman, Evelyn Hugo, has to go through to make it in the Hollywood world of the 1950's until present. It's not the hard work, the deception of others and Evelyn, the lies, the secrets, it is all the above. In this book there is a SERIOUS twist that I didn't see coming and truthfully ... I loved it. Evelyn has a lot of secrets and truly hides who she truly is. Announcement of a New Series...

Since I started writing I get a crazy idea in my head and I jot it down on a post-it. (FYI: I love post-its!!!) Anyway, this one idea kept creeping up and wouldn't leave me alone. So, I brought it to my publishers attention and they agreed for me to publish it.  It's a series that deal with female issues. By that I mean, typical issues that I've lived through and others that I know.  Before I go to far in depth let me tell you about book 1. The titles will be 'different' but that is the point, right?! Book 1 will be called: I'm the Real Paige Crosby I know its a mouthful, but there is a purpose for it...promise! The series will be called: I'm Real Series .  Book 1 will deal with self-esteem issues. A small overview of the book is that Paige Crosby is overweight, and receives a big job opportunity. However, she doesn't think that she deserves it and hides in the shadows.  There is more to it, but that is just a quick note about
