Wow, I can't believe that it, 2013 is over  What a crazy year have I had!!?? Let's recap: Last year, started out rough because the NHL was still dealing with the lockout. Oh,  the horror:   Now, it's okay .. at least for a few more years! It was my love of hockey that brought to what is happening to me now......bring an author! That is still very hard for me to say, because It still feels so unreal!! With the support of my family and friends, I wrote Melting Away The Ice (THE ICE SERIES) !! Then came:  Breaking the Ice (The Ice series (Vol 2)) I still can't believe it. With that brought the greatest partnership EVER! My dear sweet LP (aka Lindsay Paige ). Since I started writing I get a crazy idea in my head and I jot it down on a post-it. (FYI: I love post-its!!!) Anyway, this one idea kept creeping up and wouldn't leave me alone. So, I brought it to my publishers attention and they agreed for me to publish it.  It's a series that deal with female issues. By that I mean, typical issues that I've lived through and others that I know.  Before I go to far in depth let me tell you about book 1. The titles will be 'different' but that is the point, right?! Book 1 will be called: I'm the Real Paige Crosby I know its a mouthful, but there is a purpose for it...promise! The series will be called: I'm Real Series .  Book 1 will deal with self-esteem issues. A small overview of the book is that Paige Crosby is overweight, and receives a big job opportunity. However, she doesn't think that she deserves it and hides in the shadows.  There is more to it, but that is just a quick note about

Well, I have been in my writing mode finishing Breaking the Ice (Ice Series #2) . I didn't think that I would get it done on time but ....... It's all done and off to the editors!!! Y'all know how much I hate commas, and I love run-ons! My poor editor! Now, since that is done I can focus on Book 3 of the Penalty Kill Trilogy with Lindsay Paige . It's sad to see it end. I have fallen in love with Levi and Presley so much. On top of that, I love writing with LP!! Maybe we will do more in the future. Now I have made my list for my 2014 projects. It's a long list, but I have been working  a lot on all my WIPs. So I will keep you updated! So, I have several friends that are very strict vegans. They never push their beliefs on me, but I've recently had a health scare. Don't worry ... I'm fine !!! However, I need to change a bunch of things in my lifestyle. I'm not the greatest person for that .... But I LOVE a challenge .. So they challenge me to be vegetarian for the WHOLE month of November. I usually go meat-free for Lent, but this time it will be a bit different.  So, I agreed. NOW........I'm not going to be posting my weight or anything like that........... However ... First and foremost in my life I am a BOOK NERD! But because I have trying to get all these books out .. I haven't had much time to read .. So I started a 'goal' system. Its Tuesday .. and you know what that means ..... Yep .. teaser time .. So why not a little sneak peak from my WIP (Work In Progress). I have enjoyed the last 10 FULL days off of work. It's been restful and (some-what) productive. First, I have fallen in love with Sons of Anarchy. I watch season 1-4, and OMG! I'm in love with Jax! If you haven't watched them...go ... now .. hurry!!! Second, on the book/writing front.... I've got a lot done on Book 2: Breaking the Ice  AND I received a release day of ... wait for it .... December 6th!!!! I can barely contain my excitement about this book. Rachel and Max are going to be great. Also, Lindsay Paige and I made the announcements for the Penalty Kill Trilogy. One, Off the Ice  is going to be out in December 5th!! (I'm in for a crazy week there! haha) Second, we wrote a small novella for Levi and Presley. It will come out December 23rd, and it's just in time for the holidays! (Can't wait for y'all to read this one!) That's about it for me .. It's Monday .. So, it's back to work time .................

Okay I know that this was suppose to post yesterday, but *hangs head* I forgot. A few things have happened. Saturday, I finally met Lindsay Paige! *squeal* and our book is getting closer to coming out! We have been working hard on our book too! I have also been working on my TWO solo projects and making progress on them both. *happy dance* Oh, and it was also the Chicago Blackhawks Convention...NO I didn't get to go but..... Thank the stars for Blackhawks TV and Facebook for posting videos and pics.  Can't wait to tell you all more!!!

Oh, it's that dreaded Monday  ... ugh! Not much has happened, if fact, nothing has really happened. I have still been working on my two WIP projects  and The Penalty Killer Trilogy with LP. Seriously, I live a boring life .... BUT, the Royal Baby did arrive... Congrats Wills and Kate !!!

  Okay, so I haven't been keeping up with the post on this site. I know I need to so I came up with this new concept. Well, I don't know how 'new' it is, but let's try and see. Monday ... WOW! I am really sorry that I have not been posting on this site. Shame on me! It is not because I do not love yall....I have just been super busy .... First things first ...........
